Long story short — it took me a while to get here but now that I am – I am not going I back. It all started with a big wake-up call a few months ago and I had to make some lifestyle changes.
I took the bull by the horns. Healthier diet, meditation, exercise, yoga, lemonade instead of wine and Young Living Essential Oils. I will touch on all of these in future blogs but am going to start with Young Living Essential Oils.
Young Living Essential Oils have become a game changer in my life. They are helping a lot with relaxation, meditation, sleep, building immunity, healing, etc ….. In general, just making the house smell good! I have a diffuser in each bedroom and 1 downstairs in the common area. My “go to” Young Living Essential Oils for diffusing – Lavender, Thieves, Frankincense, Grapefruit & Citrus Fresh & Christmas Spirit is a must during the holidays..
I am having so much fun creating my own blends – Sunbeams, Moonbeams, Serendipity, Soft Focus, Ease, Monster Banish, Vim & Vigor, Bull’s Eye. I love making spritzers – Tone, Refresh, Balance, Energize, Yoga. There are endless opportunities for bath bombs, bath salts, body butters. And, I can not say enough about Thieves, Lemon & Purification for cleaning supplies and as an amazing deodorizer blend. And dryer balls! Add 5 drops of your favorite essential oil to wool dryer balls and add to the dryer. The wool dryer balls naturally soften your clothes and your laundry will smell amazing.
I am also having a blast cooking with Young Living Essential Oils. My “go to” oils for cooking are Lemon, Lime, Peppermint, Black Pepper, Basil, Oregano & Thyme – I will touch on this in more detail in a future blog.
Marchie’s Oatmeal with Essential Oils
Good oatmeal cooked in almond/coconut milk
1 T raw honey
1 drop of YL Thieves Vitality Oil & 1 drop Cinnamon Bark Vitality Oil
Top with fresh berries, chopped dried apples , Raw/no salt Granola 5 Seed Blend & a splash of coconut creamer.
