I am very honored and humbled to be walking this year with Team Courage in my 7th AVON 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer – for a lot of reasons!
I am walking in honor of my dear friend Mandy, My Grandmothers, Mrs. Stefan, and the many other women that I know who have fought and are presently fighting this battle. Sweet Mandy lost her battle at age 33 from inflammatory breast cancer. My grandmother did not lose the battle to breast cancer but fought it 2 times – 20 years a part.
I can’t walk them all or I would. While this walk is about breast cancer – I am also walking in honor of the many brave folks that are fighting battles of their own.

I’m walking with thousands of other 39ers. We’re banding together in solidarity and have one goal: to take breast cancer down. So many sisters and mothers and friends have been lost. We see a world without breast cancer for our daughters and nieces. AVON 39 is a force of change that can’t be stopped. By supporting, you’re part of it.
